Musk asked Twitter managers to prepare list their best employees for promotion, then fired managers

Ever since Elon Musk bought Twitter, Elon Musk and Twitter have been in constant discussion. A recent report by iNews has revealed that Elon Musk has fired at least 50 top-level managers of Twitter. Elon Musk has terminated the managers and executives from the job at the end of February and Elon Musk fired the managers when he announced last days that the layoff process in Twitter has been completed and now the employees will not be thrown out of the job.

According to the report, Elon Musk uses tricks to fire employees and claims that he wants to build a strong and agile team for Twitter, but fires people on one pretext or the other.

Twitter employees say that one thing is completely settled, that is, that any Twitter employee, even if he is the closest to Elon Musk himself, even if he is the most loyal, Can be fired from the job without notice. According to reports, earlier this year, Elon Musk asked some top executives as well as top-level managers on Twitter to pick the best members of their teams, so that they can be promoted. When the managers handed over the list of best employees to Elon Musk, Elon Musk fired all the managers and the people whose names were recommended were appointed in place of the fired managers for less money. Among the fired managers was one of Elon Musk’s staunchest supporters, Esther Crawford, who was the chief executive of Twitter Payments.

The rationale behind firing managers

Elon Musk has also given the reasoning behind the removal of about 50 managers. He said that around 50 fired managers were drawing exorbitant salaries, so now they have been replaced with new faces. The new people who have been made managers, their salary is very less and they will work a lot with this fear, because they too can be fired anytime. However, due to these steps of Elon Musk, a strange situation has arisen in Twitter. Elon Musk has fired managers with the thought that there is no work for managers or account departments in a business and Twitter developers can also handle these tasks. Therefore, Elon Musk has given the responsibility of accounts and administration to many of Twitter’s best developers and engineers, the result of which is that the developers leave their work and are busy in other work all day long and now the jobs of those developers are in danger.
