North Korea: Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, observed the launch of two cruise missiles two days after inspecting previous missile tests, including tactical nuclear exercises. The nation’s supreme leader reviewed the missiles the Korean People’s Army had deployed, according to official media on Wednesday. Local media stated that Kim sought to put an end to any potential military crisis and war crisis by escalating tensions on the peninsula and sending a strong message to “enemy.”
According to state media sources, Kim stated that North Korea should keep expanding the operational range of its strategic nuclear-armed forces in order to decisively thwart any important military crisis or war crisis at any time and fully assume the initiative in it.
The purpose of the inspection
He was in charge of the two missile tests that took place on Wednesday and covered a distance of 2,000 kilometers over the ocean while moving for 10,234 seconds. According to the statement, Kim “very appreciated the high reaction capabilities of our nuclear fighting forces.”
The purpose of the inspection was to evaluate the dependability and performance of nuclear-capable weaponry used by the North Korean defence force. According to state media Korea Central News Agency (KCNA), the purpose was to “increase the combat effectiveness and might” of cruise missiles supplied to the Korean People’s Army “for the operation of tactical nukes.”

According to KCNA, Kim Jong Un expressed “great pleasure” with the tests, which aimed to increase the combat effectiveness of the missiles stationed at the Korean People’s Army units for the use of tactical nukes.
The first strategic cruise missile launch by North Korea took place in September 2021. Kim stated that creating smaller weapons was North Korea’s primary priority in 2021 as well.
