The official Twitter account of Nepal’s Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, @PM Nepal, was just hacked in the early hours of Thursday.
In his Twitter account, instead of Dahal’s profile, the BLUR account, which is a Non-Fungible Token Marketplace for Pro Traders was visible. Yet, after some minutes, access to the PM’s Twitter account was restored.
A tweet about NFT was pinned at the time his Twitter account was hacked. “The Summoning has begun,” read the tweet. Prepare your BAKC/SewerPass and down into the pit.
In response to the problem, the Nepali government reclaimed control of the account quickly, replaced the Twitter account’s profile photo, and also deleted the pinned message.
Also, the account shared tweets on NFT from Thursday morning.
