Pakistan: Bomb Blast in Balochistan Mall Kills 1, injures 7 others

Pakistan: In the unrest ridden Balochistan province of Pakistan, a bombing on Saturday left one person dead and seven others injured. According to a senior police official, the bomb disposal team has discovered proof that the “terror attack” in the Awaran district employed a remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED).

Information from the officials

He said, “The wounded include women and children. The condition of some people is critical.” 
According to the official, one person was killed in the event, and the seven injured have been sent to the hospital in the district administrative centre. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo expressed his regret for the incident in a statement.

Balochistan, the epicentre of violence this year

Balochistan has been the epicentre of violence this year, with many terrorist assaults on locals, law enforcement officers, and labourers from other provinces. Last month, security forces carried out two operations in the province’s Hoshab and Kohlu districts, during which they killed 19 alleged terrorists who belonged to the banned Baloch Republican Army.
