Pakistan: Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has warned that the country’s finance ministry has no cash for elections, ARY News reported. During a joint news conference with Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Khawaja Asif presented the disclosure to the world’s media.
Khawaja Asif criticised PTI leader Imran Khan
According to ARY News, Khawaja Asif criticised PTI leader Imran Khan, claiming that his claim of an assassination attempt was false. He first increased the contract of outgoing army leader General Qamar Javaid Bajwa, and now he is holding him accountable. The Defence Minister said, “First, he attributed his removal to the US.” The minister added that although Mr. Khan illegally dissolved the provincial assembly, he was legitimately removed from office by a vote of no confidence, and he now refuses to appear before the courts.
Former prime minister created a fake story of a US conspiracy-
Moreover, Khawaja Asif accused the PTI chairman of locking up PML-N leaders while in office. He claimed that throughout the three years Mr. Khan was in office, he was imprisoned, and his party’s head had phoney cases brought against him in court. Every day, Imran Khan brings up issues, but the administration is working to resolve them, and Pakistan will soon emerge from all of these difficulties, Khawaja Asif said. He added that the former prime minister created a fake story of a US conspiracy, but the Supreme Court stepped in and prevented a constitutional crisis, according to ARY News.
Pakistan was in the midst of a pivotal period
According to ARY News, Imran Khan has urged judges to pay attention to the constitutional violations occurring as a result of the postponement of the general election. The rule of law, according to Khawaja Khan, is a fundamental right of the country. He made this statement while speaking to PTI employees and supporters through video link. He urged courts to pay attention to the government’s actions, claiming that Pakistan was in the midst of a pivotal period.
