The people of Pakistan, who are facing economic crisis, are now going to be hit twice. Pakistan has become completely pauper by following the path of terrorism. The people of Pakistan, yearning for two breads, are now on the verge of suffering without medicines. The stock of medicines in the country is about to end. According to Pakistan media reports, operation theaters are left with less than a two-week stock of anesthetics needed for sensitive surgeries, including heart, cancer and kidney.
In fact, the lack of foreign exchange reserves in the neighboring country has affected the purchase of essential medicines or drug manufacturing materials.
As a result, local drug manufacturers were forced to reduce their production. Due to the shortage of medicines in the country, doctors in Pakistan have stopped performing operations. Due to which patients are being forced to suffer in serious hospital.
Stock less than of two weeks left
According to Pakistani media reports, there is less than a two-week stock left of the anesthetics needed for the surgery. According to Pak media reports, Pakistan’s pharmaceutical companies have threatened that they may stop production. These companies say that the cost of production has increased due to the historic fall in the value of the rupee. He has threatened that if the government does not increase the prices of medicines immediately, then the only option for them would be to stop the production.
Pharmaceutical companies raised their hands
Drug manufacturers say that it has become completely impossible for them to produce and provide stock of medicines for more than the next 7 days. Pakistan’s pharmaceutical companies import about 95 percent of the raw materials. Those raw materials come from many countries including India and China. Due to deteriorating relations with India, there is a ban on imports, so the goods received from here have to be imported from outside. Which cost more.
