Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Shazia Marri has threatened India with nuclear war. The PPP leader’s statement came a day after India strongly condemned Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto’s “uncivilized remarks” against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, news agency ANI quoted Bol News as saying.
Shazia Marri told reporters at a press conference in support of Bilawal Bhutto, “India should not forget that Pakistan has a nuclear bomb. Our nuclear power is not meant to remain silent. We will not hold back from using it if needed.” India yesterday slammed Bilawal Bhutto for her aggressive personal attack on PM Modi and termed it as “a new low even for Pakistan”.
Strongly and mercilessly condemning Bilawal Bhutto’s remarks at the United Nations, New Delhi said that Pakistan lacked the credibility to attack India and that “Make in Pakistan terrorism” must stop.
In a highly objectionable remark on Thursday, Bilawal Bhutto had said, “Osama bin Laden is dead, but the butcher of Gujarat is alive and he is the Prime Minister of India.”
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement, “These comments have hit a new low for Pakistan. Pakistan’s foreign minister has clearly forgotten the day in 1971, when the Pakistani rulers committed genocide against Bengalis and Hindus.” Unfortunately, there has still not been much change in Pakistan’s treatment of its minorities.”
The Ministry of External Affairs said that Pakistan’s foreign minister’s “rude remarks” appear to be the result of growing inefficiency in using terrorists based in Pakistan as proxies. Cities like New York, Mumbai, Pulwama, Pathankot and London have had to tolerate Pakistan sponsored, supported and abetted terrorism. This violence has emanated from their particular terrorist territories and has been exported to all parts of the world. Make in Pakistan terrorism should stop.
India said that Pakistan is a country which glorifies Osama bin Laden as a martyr and gives shelter to terrorists like Lakhvi, Hafiz Saeed, Masood Azhar, Sajid Mir and Dawood Ibrahim. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs statement said, “No other country can claim the 126 UN designated terrorists and 27 terrorist entities.”
