Pakistan: Friday’s suicide bombing in Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital, claimed the life of a police officer, according to Pakistani news site the Dawn.
According to the news agency’s source, at least six persons were hurt as a result of the suicide bombing inside the car. Four police officers and two civilians were among the six injured. The police officer and the suicide bomber were both determined to be deceased.
In a statement, the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the suicide attack in the capital.

Deputy Inspector general of Police for Islamabad informs
Sohail Zafar Chattha, the deputy inspector general of police for Islamabad, reported that about 10:15 a.m., Head Constable Adeel Hussain and his fellow officers in the neighbourhood noticed a “suspect vehicle” with a man and a woman inside.
The couple got out of the automobile after the cops asked the vehicle to stop and approached it. According to Chattha, the authorities began to check the individual, but he eventually went inside the car under some excuse before setting himself on fire.
In a tweet, the Islamabad police stated that officers were performing a quick check and had ordered a suspicious car to stop. The police agency said, “A suicide bomber aboard the vehicle detonated himself shortly after the automobile stopped close to the policemen.
After the explosion, the police blocked down both lanes of Service Road East of Sector I-10/4 and urged people to take Service Road West of Sector I-10/4 as a detour.

Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility
In a statement, the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the suicide attack in the capital.
Images of a burning truck and police officers and other bystanders at the site were shared by Pakistani citizens on social media and on Pakistani broadcast networks.
The explosion occurs a day after the Islamabad police claimed in a statement that 2,024 suspicious people, motorcycles, and vehicles had been examined by the Eagle Squad as a security precaution.
Since the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) held policemen captive in Bannu, in northwest Pakistan, there has been instability across Pakistan’s border regions.
