Interestingly, a segment on a Pakistani TV show, Geo News, went beyond reporting the event, delving into a thought-provoking analysis that has rapidly gained traction on social media platforms. The hosts of the show, Huma Amir Shah and Abdullah Sultan, contextualized India’s lunar accomplishment in relation to their own country’s challenges. Huma Amir Shah’s statement, “India chaand pe pohoch gaya, hum beech mein hi phasein huye hai” (India has reached the moon, while we are still stuck in the middle), succinctly captured the contrasting situations.

The hosts emphasized that the longstanding rivalry between India and Pakistan could be channeled into productive competition, particularly in domains such as space exploration. They concluded the segment by offering their enthusiastic endorsement of India’s lunar mission, labeling it as ‘absolutely wonderful.’ The duo openly expressed their happiness and acknowledged that they were genuinely thrilled by the achievement. “Humein yahan baith ke khushi ho rahi thi” (We were sitting here feeling joyful), they confessed.

In a separate incident, a video featuring a cricket analyst named Mohsin Ali went viral as he criticized a UK journalist’s negative and racially biased comments about the success of Chandrayaan-3.

On July 14, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The mission culminated in a successful landing near the lunar south pole on August 23.
