PM Modi’s words on war had impact on Russians says CIA Chief

The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on since 24 February. Both the countries are hell-bent on each other’s destruction. Russian soldiers have ruined many cities of Ukraine. Thousands of innocent lives have been lost in the war, while many people have become homeless. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed concern about the use of nuclear weapons. PM Modi’s views have had a deep impact on the Russians.

In fact, US Intelligence Agency (CIA) director William Burn said that Indian Prime Minister Modi had expressed deep concern about the use of nuclear weapons, his views had a profound impact on Russia. This is the reason why nuclear weapons have not been used in this war yet.

Burn said in an interview that I think all this is to scare. Today we do not see any evidence of plans to use strategic nuclear weapons.

CIA Chief William Burn comment came after Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statement in which he threatened nuclear attack. In fact, in the meeting of Russia’s Human Rights Council in the Kremlin, Putin had said that Russia will fight with all its available means. Putin had said that he considered Moscow’s nuclear weapons a solution rather than a provocation.

In fact, ever since the war between Russia and Ukraine started, India has been calling for dialogue and diplomacy. In a telephonic conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on 16 December, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had suggested that dialogue and diplomacy were the only solution to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

Not only this, he had told Russian President Putin at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Samarkand in September that today’s era is not of war. On this Putin said that I know about your position on the Ukraine conflict. I know about your concerns. We want all this to end as soon as possible.
