Imran Khan: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah made the stunning claim that ousted Prime Premier Imran Khan is a “enemy” of the PML-N and that Imran has brought the nation’s politics to a position where “either he (Imran) would get murdered or us.” A political uproar followed the comments of a top leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) who is close to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, notably among Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf.
Imran Khan identified Rana Sanaullah as the assassin
After surviving a shooting attack at a rally in Wazirabad, Punjab, in November of last year, Imran Khan identified Rana Sanaullah as the assassin. In his FIR application, Imran Khan, 70, also named Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, and a senior ISI official for their participation in the assassination scheme. Sanaullah stated the following in an interview with a few private TV channels on Sunday: “Imran Khan or we will both be killed. He has now brought the political landscape of the nation to the point where only PTI or PMLN can survive. We will do whatever it takes to exact revenge on PMLN because his whole survival is at risk. Politics have become hostile under Imran Khan. Imran Khan is currently our adversary, and we shall treat him as such “Sanatullah announced.
Anarchy already prevails in Pakistan
The minister said, “Anarchy already prevails in Pakistan,” when asked if such comments may lead to anarchy in that country. PTI leader and former federal information minister Fawad Chaudhry vehemently reacted to Rana Sanaullah’s statement, saying, “This is a clear life threat to Imran Khan from the PMLN coalition government.” “Is Sanaullah in charge of the government or a gang? His remark is proof that the Sharifs-led PMLN is a Sicilian mafia, as the Supreme Court correctly declared “said he. The SC has been urged by the PTI to take notice of this since Imran Khan’s life is directly at risk.
