Dubai: On Monday, a huge fire started at a skyscraper in Downtown Dubai. The fire that started early this morning has not yet been linked to any fatalities. The highest structure in the world, the Burj Khalifa, is next to the skyscraper that caught fire. The 8 Boulevard Walk by Emaar building had visible black burn traces running up it. One may observe fire blazing through the Emaar skyscraper in the web footage.

Fire has been put out though
According to a Khaleej Times article in the local media, the fire began in a lower flat before moving up the building. According to local media accounts, emergency services arrived on-time at the tower and quickly put out the fire. In areas that were isolated as a result of the incident, the city recorded an increase in traffic.
