Singapore overtook Japan
According to the Henry Passport Index, this year Singapore’s passport has emerged as the most powerful passport in the world. With a Singapore passport, you can travel without a visa to 192 countries in the world. Japan has now slipped to the third position in the list. With a Japanese passport, you can travel to 189 countries without a visa.
Germany, Italy and Spain are the 3 countries of Europe in second place in this list. People having passports of these three countries can travel without visa to 190 countries of the world. Along with Japan, there are also passports of Austria, Finland, France, Luxembourg, South Korea and Sweden at number three.
According to the ranking of passports, the fourth powerful passport is from Denmark, Ireland, Netherlands and United Kingdom. These people can travel visa free in 188 countries. On the other hand, people holding passports of Belgium, Czech Republic, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal and Switzerland can travel without a visa to 187 countries. He is at 5th place in the ranking.
