Shinzo Abe’s Funeral to Beat The Cost Of Queen Elizabeth II’s Funeral

Shinzo Abe Funeral: Shinzo Abe, the former prime minister of Japan, will be buried next week, but the expense of the service has drawn harsh criticism from citizens of the nation. This year’s Shinzo Abe was murdered in July.

1.66 Billion to be spent on Abe’s funeral

According to media sources, the Japanese government would spend 1.66 billion yen on the occasion, which is apparently more than the price of Queen Elizabeth II’s state burial.

There have been protests in Japan as a result of the issue surrounding Mr. Abe’s publicly financed burial. The cost of Queen Elizabeth’s burial was anticipated to be less than that of Mr. Abe’s, coming in at roughly 1.3 billion yen, according to the newspaper.

There have been protests in Japan as a result of the issue surrounding Mr. Abe’s publicly financed burial. The cost of Queen Elizabeth’s burial was anticipated to be less than that of Mr. Abe’s, coming in at roughly 1.3 billion yen, according to the newspaper.
As Japan spent $13 billion on the Tokyo Olympics, about twice the amount projected for the event, some have also raised worry.
Murayama, a Tokyo-based event planner, was awarded the contract to plan Mr. Abe’s burial.

The Japanese government calculated the cost of the state funeral at 250 million yen, according to a story by The Guardian. Hirokazu Matsuno, the chief cabinet secretary, estimates that the cost of receiving the dignitaries will be 600 million yen, while the cost of maintaining order at the event is likely to be 800 million yen.

The report also stated that he had further stated that the cost of the state funeral could total up to 1.7 billion yen.
Earlier this week, a man who opposed the idea of holding a public burial for Shinzo Abe set himself on fire outside the office of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
