Elon Musk’s company SpaceX launched its Starship Rocket for the first time on Thursday. However, it exploded shortly after take-off, due to which it failed to reach space. It was the most powerful rocket ever built in the world, designed to send humans to the Moon, Mars and beyond. Although this starship rocket failed in its very first test. According to international time, this huge rocket was successfully tested at 8:33 am from Spacex Spaceport located in Boca Chica, Texas.
According to the information, the Starship capsule was to separate from the rocket booster as the first stage after three minutes of flight. However, due to technical reasons, this separation could not happen and the rocket exploded. The explosion rose about 33 kilometers above the earth.
According to media reports, the Starship was a multiple-use rocket. The rocket had mainly two parts. The first part was the part carrying passengers. While the other part was the Super Heavy Rocket Booster. Including both the parts, its total length was 394 feet. The Starship rocket was capable of generating 16 million pounds (70 meganewtons) of thrust, nearly twice that of NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket.
