Trump calls Kamala Harris a “communist” after vice presidential debate

US President Donald Trump, on Thursday, launched an attack on Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris.

Calling her a communist, the US president said that if Biden wins the election, Kamala will take over as a president as soon as one month.

Vice President, Mike Pence and Kamala Harris were face-to-face in the vice presidential debate on Wednesday, wherein Kamala slammed Trump administration’s mishandling of covid-19 in the country.

Talking about Kamala’s debate performance, Trump in an interview with Fox News said, “I thought that wasn’t even a contest last night. She was terrible. I don’t think you could get worse. And totally unlikable. She’s a Communist. She’s left of (Senator) Bernie (Sanders). She’s rated left of Bernie by everybody. She’s a Communist.”

“We’re going to have a Communist. Look, I sit next to Joe and I looked at Joe. Joe’s not lasting two months as president. That’s my opinion. He’s not going to be lasting two months,” Trump added.

The US president even went on to use an invective against Harris, calling her a “monster”.

“This monster that was onstage with Mike Pence, who destroyed her last night, by the way,” he said.

“She is a Communist. She’s not a Socialist. She’s well beyond a socialist. Take a look at her views. She wants to open up the borders to allow killers and murderers and rapists to pour into our country,” Trump further attacked Harris.

This was Trump’s first interview since his presidential debate with democratic nominee, Joe Biden, last week.

Meanwhile, Pence, who was face-to-face with Harris treated her with courtesy while listening to her points ardently. Harris, at times, seemed overwhelming during the debate with her style honed as a prosecutor.

Trump, who was discharge from hospital on Wednesday, is currently recovering from Covid-19.
