Twitter: On Twitter, Jesus Christ’s handle has now been verified. It’s hard to believe but it’s actually right. With the help of the Twitter Blue subscription, which is now available in some countries for $8, a parody page with the name Jesus Christ has been officially verified by Twitter. The benefits of the subscription include features like the famous blue checkmark and the capacity to edit the tweet.
It’s interesting to note that the false Jesus Christ account has been active since 2006 and that its biography refers to him as a “Carpenter, Healer, and God.” Along with having over 7 lakh followers, the profile includes a link to Jesus Christ’s Wikipedia page.
Twitter Blue to be available in India for this amount
Many users were in splits once they noticed the blue checkmark on Jesus Christ’s profile. One user (@WalshJackMD) wrote, “Please make me your only follower, Jesus. I carried you down the beach that one time”. Another user (@NikiBeach19) said, “I’m still waiting for Santa to come on Twitter. I just know he’s real”.
Furthermore, as Twitter Blue is available for iOS devices in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, it implies that the person posing as Jesus Christ is using an iPhone. Soon, social media giant hopes to bring Blue to additional nations. Twitter Blue could arrive in India at Rs 719 starting next month.

Many other parody accounts have received blue tick
Jesus Christ isn’t the only parody or phoney profile getting a blue tick, either. The video game icon Super Mario, NBA star LeBron James, and even the former US president Donald Trump, who is still blocked on the network, are among the people whose verified accounts have surfaced.
Future days may bring greater difficulties in determining what is fake and what is real on the platform due to profiles with blue checkmarks. Additionally, the app is experimenting with an unique ‘official’ tag that users cannot purchase. Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, initially abandoned the idea. It is now steadily regaining popularity.
