UAE: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has overhauled its immigration laws and implemented new visa requirements that affect visitors, job seekers, and anyone looking to settle in the Gulf nation.
The new rules, which are framed under the enhanced visa system, went into effect on Monday, October 3. Changes are made, including longer tourist visas, extended Green Visa residency for professionals, and an expanded 10-year Golden Visa programme.
New Rules and Regulations
Visitors with tourist visas will be able to stay in the UAE for 60 days, an extension from the prior 30 days.
Visitors can stay in the UAE for up to 90 days straight with a five-year multi-entry tourist visa.
Professionals will be able to look for career prospects in the UAE without a sponsor or host thanks to the job exploration visa.

Green Visa
Foreigners will be able to sponsor themselves under the five-year green visa without the assistance of UAE citizens or their companies. This visa is open to investors, skilled workers, and independent contractors.
Green card holders are now able to sponsor themselves for the duration of their stay for their family members (spouse, kids, and first-degree relatives).
A green card holder will have up to six months to renew their permit when it expires.
Golden VISA
Holders of a golden visa may also sponsor their children and relatives.
After the holder of a golden visa passes away, their family members may continue to reside in the UAE as long as the visa is still in effect.
Additionally, holders of golden visas will profit from having full control of their companies.
No matter how long the holder stays outside of the UAE, their golden visa will still be valid.
