US-Pakistan Relations: The US declared on Monday that it had faith in Pakistan’s capacity to manage its nuclear arsenal following President Joe Biden’s scaremongering, which prompted Islamabad to call the US ambassador.
Vedant Patel, a spokesperson for the State Department, told reporters that “the United States is convinced of Pakistan’s commitment and its ability to secure its nuclear assets.”

“The US values our long-standing collaboration with Pakistan,” he added. “The US has always seen a secure and prosperous Pakistan as important to US interests.”
At a private Democratic Party fundraiser in California on Thursday, Biden casually mentioned Pakistan’s nuclear programme as he started talking about the difficulties facing with China’s President Xi Jinping, a strong ally of Pakistan.
According to a White House transcript, Biden added, “And what I think is perhaps one of the most dangerous states in the world: Pakistan. Nuclear weapons without any cohesion.”
Pakistan, which is pleased to be the only Islamic country with a nuclear weapon, called US Ambassador Donald Blome to express its displeasure.

However, Bhutto Zardari, who recently paid a visit to Washington, asked for increased communication, and Biden showed little enthusiasm for speaking with his Pakistani colleagues in person.
However, USAID Administrator Samantha Power and State Department Counselor Derek Chollet also paid visits when disastrous floods struck Pakistan, according to Patel.
He declared, “We consider this connection as crucial, and we’re going to continue to be strongly engaged in it.
