Farhatullah Ghori, a notorious terrorist based in Pakistan, has called upon sleeper cells in India to carry out attacks on trains, petroleum pipelines, and Hindu leaders.

Farhatullah Ghori

Farhatullah Ghori: After a video portraying notorious terrorist Farhatullah Ghori surfaced, Indian intelligence authorities went into high alert. In the video, Ghori can be heard encouraging sleeper cells to launch assaults on Hindu leaders and the country’s railway system in India. Given that Ghori has a history of planning horrific assaults like the explosion at the Rameshwaram Cafe, this worrisome call to action has raised fears across the nation.

Who is Farhatullah Ghori

Farhatullah Ghori, who goes by several names including Abu Sufiyan, Sardar Sahab, and Faru, has long been a target of Indian security services. Ghori, who is currently based in Pakistan, is believed to have utilised a sleeper cell to plan the Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bengaluru, presumably with assistance from Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). At least ten individuals suffered injuries in the blast on March 1, and since then, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has detained two important suspects connected to the incident.

History of Bloodshed

Terrorist operations are nothing new to Farhatullah Ghori. He has been linked to other high-profile incidents in India, such as the 2002 attack on Gujarat’s Akshardham Temple, which left over 30 people dead and 80 injured. In 2005, he was also a part of the suicide bombing at the Task Force headquarters in Hyderabad. Ghori’s activities go beyond direct assaults; his name frequently comes up during the questioning of terrorists who have been apprehended, and he has played a significant role in the recruiting of jihadists online.

The Network of Terror

Ghori’s influence is especially great in South India, where his son-in-law Shahid Faisal is heavily involved in sleeper cell management. Faisal planned the attack from behind the scenes and had direct communication with the main suspect in the Rameshwaram Cafe explosion. The blast probe by the NIA has revealed connections to a larger Islamic State (IS) network that operates in Shivamogga, Karnataka, which has further complicated the security situation.

Farhatullah Ghori’s Sinister Call for Destruction

Ghori gives sleeper groups directions to strike India’s train network with pressure cooker bombs and other explosive devices in the alarming video that has been going viral recently. He also discusses plans to blow up oil pipelines and attack well-known Hindu leaders in an attempt to disrupt the nation and promote chaos. Citing the acts of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in particular, Ghori announces his determination to take retribution on the Indian government for its crackdown on sleeper cells.
