US President Joe Biden has asserted that any aerial object violating the airspace of United States and is seen as a threat , will be shot down. Further he also informed that three objects which were shot down last week were in no way related to China.
Biden: Any object seen as threat would be brought down
Biden said,
“We don’t yet know exactly what these three objects were but nothing right now suggests they were related to China’s spy balloon program or that they were surveillance vehicles from any other country,”
The Balloon Drama which started last week has resulted in a war of words between US and China and diplomatic relationship between Super Powers has plunged to pit bottom. It all started last week with the spotting of a white colored balloon flying US airspace.
The US authorities tracked the balloon for a couple of days and observed that it was flying over sensitive military installations. This led to alarm bells ringing in Washington DC and fighter jets were scrambled to shoot down the balloon.
After the balloon was shot and brought down by state of the art F-22, fighter jet , debris were recovered by US forces. The flying object was suspected to be Chinese flying spy craft.
In the press briefing , Biden stated,
“We acted out of an abundance of caution” at an opportunity that allowed the US to take down the objects safely.”

US Fighters shoot down three unidentified objects in a week
After the bringing down of a suspected Chinese Spy craft, the US fighters have shot down a total of three unidentified objects in one week. Two unidentified high altitude objects were shot down in Alaska , while one was shot down over Canada.
During Media interaction Biden informed that military was ordered to shoot down unidentified objects over the week end because of the danger they posed to commercial air traffic. Further he also mentioned that they could not “rule out the surveillance risk of sensitive facilities”.
Biden said, “The intelligence community’s current assessment is that these three ones were most likely balloons tied to private companies, recreation or research institutions studying weather or conducting other scientific research.”
